Privacy Policy

At Yield Bud Empire we process as little data as possible and only to run the game and the alpha. We do not sell data, show ads or use third-party analytics.

1. Controller

WOLI CBD SOCIEDAD ANÓNIMA, corporate ID 3-101-825917, registered at Monserrat 125, Alajuela, Costa Rica (postal code 20101). Contact for anything about your data: info@yieldbudempire.com (also contacto@wolicbd.com).

This policy is governed by Costa Rica’s Law No. 8968 on the Protection of Individuals regarding the Processing of their Personal Data and its regulations, and we follow the good practices of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for people in the European Union.

2. Data we process

  • Pre-registration on yieldbudempire.com: your email, the alias you type (optional), language, date and an encrypted fingerprint (hash) of your IP address; and, if you receive one, your invitation code.
  • Game account: email, username, password stored only as a hash (scrypt; we never see it), sign-up date, and encrypted fingerprints of your IP and browser to prevent bots and multiple accounts.
  • Sign in with Google (if you choose it): your Google account identifier, verified email and name. We never receive your Google password or access to other data.
  • Game activity: your progress, $FLORA balance, in-game items and NFTs, market offers and the ledger of economy movements.
  • Wallets (if you link them): the public address of your Solana or Ronin wallet and the signature that proves it is yours. We never ask for or store private keys or seed phrases.
  • Security: active sessions and a log of security events (e.g. failed attempts) with encrypted IP fingerprints.

3. Why we use it

  • To manage the pre-registration and send you your alpha access code in order of arrival.
  • To create and maintain your account, verify your email and help you recover access.
  • To run the game and its economy, and to prevent cheating, bots and multiple accounts.
  • To send only necessary emails (verification, recovery, invitation code, important service notices). No marketing without your explicit consent.

4. Legal basis

Your consent, given when you sign up or create your account (acceptance checkbox), and the performance of the game’s Terms and Conditions. For security and abuse prevention we rely on our legitimate interest in protecting the service and the players. You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us.

5. Who it is shared with

  • Hostinger (Hostinger International Ltd.): hosts this site, the email service and the server that bridges to the game.
  • WOLI CBD SOCIEDAD ANÓNIMA’s own servers in Costa Rica: store the game database.
  • Google LLC: only if you choose to sign in with Google.
  • Solana and Ronin networks: only if you link a wallet; their information is public by nature and we do not send them your data.
  • Authorities: only when a law or court order requires it.

6. International transfers

Some providers (such as Hostinger and Google) may process data outside Costa Rica, in countries with adequate safeguards or under contractual clauses. By accepting this policy you consent to those transfers, which are needed to provide the service.

7. How long we keep it

  • Pre-registration: until the public launch or until you ask us to delete it (24 months at most).
  • Account: while it is active. If you ask us to delete it, we erase your personal data within 30 days.
  • Security logs: up to 12 months, with encrypted fingerprints only.
  • Backups: overwritten within 90 days.

8. Your rights

You can request access to your data, its correction or deletion, object to its processing or withdraw your consent. Write to info@yieldbudempire.com from your account or pre-registration email; we answer within the deadlines set by Law 8968. If you are not satisfied, you can contact Costa Rica’s Data Protection Agency (PRODHAB) or, if you live in the European Union, your supervisory authority.

9. Minors

Yield Bud Empire is for people aged 18 and over only. We do not knowingly accept data from minors; if we detect an account or pre-registration from a minor, we delete it.

10. Security

Everything travels encrypted (HTTPS). Passwords are stored with scrypt, IPs are stored as encrypted fingerprints, server access is restricted and there are anti-bot checks and attempt limits. No system is infallible: if an incident affects your data, we will tell you and report it to the authority when required.

11. Changes

If we change this policy, we update the version date (2026-09-23) and, if the change is significant, we email you before it applies.
